speaker at conference

ACET strives to present conferences with current topics of interest to computer educators in the State of Texas. Our conference theme for 2007: IT's a small, small World!, promises to highlight and promote discussion regarding a topic that is impacting how we teach and how our students utilize computing tools.

Lunch at ACET Of course, food is always a treat at ACET conferences; all refreshment breaks and luncheons are included in the cost of the conference fee!
Vendor exhibits and door prizes Our vendor exhibit hall allows one-on-one visits with Thomson Course Technology and other local vendors in the areas where the conferences are held.
Door prize example

Our attendees for the 2006 conference received these great briefcases, and that was just the beginning of the door prizes awarded during the last conference!

The Friday afternoon general business meeting is a time when special door prizes are awarded, so plan to come and stay for the excitement!

So, mark your calendars for 10-13 October 2007 now! And, join us at our 43rd Annual Conference where we will continue the tradition of providing cost-effective updates for our members--not to mention the great food, camaraderie, and door prizes or giveaways that participants always find at the ACET conferences.
