speaker at conference

ACET strives to present conferences with current topics of interest to computer educators in the State of Texas. Our conference theme for 2006, Anytime, Anywhere Computing: Mobile & Secure, promises to highlight and promote discusssion regarding a topic that is impacting how we teach and how our students utilize computing tools.

Lunch at ACET Of course, food is always a treat at ACET conferences and all refreshment breaks and luncheons are included in the cost of the conference fee!
Vendor exhibits and door prizes Our vendor exhibit hall allows one-on-one visits with Thomson Course Technology and other local vendors in the areas where the conferences are held.
Renaissance Festival Every year, ACET schedules Friday nights for family entertainment. Although the Friday evening event is not yet set for 2006, you can plan on fun for the whole family. Plus, close proximity of the 2006 conference to the Texas Renaisance Festival provides additional opportunities for the family!
Door prize example

Our first 100 attendees for the 2005 conference received these great briefcases, and that was just the beginning of the door prizes awarded throughout the 2005 conference!

The Saturday luncheon is a time when special door prizes are awarded, so plan to come and stay for the excitement!

So, mark your calendars for October 18-21, 2006 now! And, join us at our 42nd Annual Conference where we will continue the tradition of providing cost-effective updates for our members--not to mention the great food, comaraderie, and door prizes or give-aways that participants always find at the ACET conferences.
