ACET'S 42nd Annual Conference
ACET 2006 Annual Conference
October 18-21, 2006
Tomball College
Tomball, TX
ACET and Tomball College welcome the 42nd Annual Conference of the Association for Computer Educators of Texas for workshops (CPE credit available), sessions, speakers, special events, and vendor exhibits that support our conference theme, Anytime, Anywhere Computing: Mobile & Secure! ACET's focus on offering education and training for high school, college
and university faculty, staff, and administrators allows us to present an
annual conference at an extremely low cost with professional development opportunities, training workshops, invited speakers, papers presenting current research, and other sessions that inform participants about cutting-edge technologies and current developments in the field. Our special focus for the 2006 conference will highlight the impact that portable, wireless technologies are having on educational settings and best practices for maintaining security in these environments!
So, mark your calendars for October 18-21, 2006 now! And, join us at our 42nd Annual Conference where we will continue the tradition of providing cost-effective updates for our members--not to mention the great food, comaraderie, and door prizes or give-aways that participants always find at the ACET conferences.
