Track I Office 2000 MOUS Certification
2 Sessions Offered: Day 1 MS Excel & Day 2 MSWord

Individuals and organizations alike will benefit from Office 2000 MOUS certification. 
MOUS certification offers:
*  A means for individuals to demonstrate their knowledge of the world’s most recognized and utilized suite of
    Business applications, as well as many important business concepts.
*  A standard by which employers can recruit candidates with the most current desktop skills
*  A baseline for academic institutions to measure desktop preparation.
*  A means for training organizations to verify and measure training results.
*  A tool that corporations can use to elevate productivity.
*  A nationally recognized credential for both employers and job applicants.

Track II Windows 2000

2 days 8 am-5pm.  Includes book and meals…$250 (a $2,125 value!!)

This very intensive and in depth technical course is taught by a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and MCSE and will prepare the participants to take the a Microsoft Exam #70-240, Microsoft Windows 2000-Accelerated Exam for MCSE’s certified in Windows NT 4.0.  Microsoft Certified System Engineers (MCSE), who have passed the three-core exam are eligible to take one exam to upgrade their NT certifications to Windows 2000.  This exam will be offered free of charge by Microsoft. However, each person will be able to take the exam ONLY ONCE.  If you fail, you will there after be required to take the four- (4) Microsoft Core Windows 2000 exams. In other words this will be a one-shot chance to pass the exam.

You are also welcome to attend if you would like to learn the technical differences between Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000.  This course is patterned after Microsoft's five-day course retailing at $2125. This course will be primarily lecture, demonstration and video.  It WILL BE assumed that all attendees will have an in-depth understanding of the NT operating system and its services.

This course will be a very intensive look at the following topics: Introduction to and Installing Windows 2000; Exploring, Implementing, and Administering Active Directory; Implementing DNS; Using Group Policy to Manage Software and Desktop Environments; Managing File Resources; Installing and Configuring Terminal Services; Configuring Remote Access; Supporting DHCP and WINS; Performing Disk Management; Implementing Disaster Protection; For details and prerequisite information please visit our website.
